To achieve a white or rose gold tone, various alloys like zinc, copper, silver, and nickel are added to the gold mixture. The white color tone is then enhanced by applying rhodium plating, a naturally white platinum family metal. However, over time, the plating may wear off and the gold’s natural color may begin to show through. This gradual color change is part of the ring’s character and aging process.
If you prefer a truly long-lasting white metal without the subtle color changes, platinum is the best choice. Platinum is naturally white in color and does not require any plating. Our two-tone gold rings that contain white gold are offered in their natural alloyed tones and are not rhodium plated to avoid the subtle color change. While the white tone may seem a bit yellowish compared to the rhodium-plated rings, they will remain the same tone forever.

Lost Shipment Policy: In the event that your jewelry is lost during shipment, please contact us and we will process and rush a replacement if requested. The payment for the replacement item will be refunded once the shipper has settled the claim for the lost item.
